I'm not even through the first tour of Stepping Out, and I'm already addicted. This is a wonderfully written book. Great textbook for teachers to follow the common core! Perfectly aligned. I have been reading voraciously since I was able. The hidden surface problem is finessed because the planes are parallel - so you only reverse the rendering order once every 180 degrees of change in viewer angle. Excellent for class work as well as personal devotion. This book brings you back to the time before our modern health problem of today--too much power in the pharmaceutical industry! It reads like something published from 1958 (the author even talks about one of his patients giving him a book of medicine of hers from 1824). But I couldn't part with this. The intensity picks up again right away in the next chapter. The exercises are good, and the solution manual and graphing calculator manual (both sold separately) is worth every penny if you want to be sure you understand the material. I have recently transitioned to eating a plant-based diet which necessitates learning

'An excellent and importantly readable coverage of some of the main issues for those involved in educational research A major text in the subject area.' - John Copley

This is a new edition of one of our best-selling textbooks. The authors have thoroughly updated the fourth edition and included more text on current developments in research practice, action research, developments in ICT, questionnaire design, ethnographic research, conducting needs analysis, constructing and using tests, observational methods, reliability and validity, ethical issues and curriculum research. The entire text has been redesigned to cater for the increasingly sophisticated needs of the educational researcher. The authors, who are experienced teachers in the field, have produced a better written book (if that's possible) containing readable and realistic views of research and methodology, and show how to interpret the data.. The new edition is more comprehensive, up-to-date and user-friendly, with increased accessibility
