The first chapter is devoted to the near term history of the Russian Army, its war doctrine, the defensive strategy and its "preparedness" in June 1941. The Russian company came to NYC in December 1928 and had a triumphant tour across the USA and Canada, which was universally acclaimed by the press, critics and public alike. Great images of Caddo Lake and well written commentary. The other great thing is there are lots of diagrams so you can look through the lines in your head.Of course this book is only about the Ryder Gambit accepted.
