It's the best how-to book on writing I've read. Absolutely practical and completely accessible. But Maggie would be such a perfect wife. The woman whose heroism saves Tara from oblivion is evaluated by Rhett at the end: "My pet, you're such a child." By the end of the novel, when Scarlett is only 28 years old, she has been married three times, widowed twice, given birth to three children, and buried one of them. kids like pictures, but this in comparison to the other work is just weak. You should not have any doughts in purchasing this book.. Great to reread them after 40+ years.. I read many books, but did not feel like I was getting all the information needed. Why? Did Churchill foresee the rise of Ronald Reagan, who conservatives credit? Or did he truly understand tyranny will inevitably collapse if left to its follies? Either Churchill foresaw the coming of a "great" American president who caused communism to collapse, as in the "great man" approach to history favoured by the Reaganites; or he understood the nature of "great people" and relevant leaders
