Afaa is this awesome wicked snake charmer and is probably my favorite introduced character so far. And because this book details the actual measuring processes - processes not included in other histories of geography and cartography - it fills a unique niche. Bussel years to write his memoir; it sat unfinished in his computer for years. As much as I admired Ms. Carucci feels that certain ideas are necessary to produce a good image regardless of the technology. I absolutely loved this story. She’s a girl with the right ideas who makes the wrong choices. Instead, I prefer alternate workout regimens such as calisthenics, circuit training and high intensity interval workout to maintain peak energy levels while keeping myself fit, flexible and healthy. Great illustrations in here. However, there is nothing newer out there that covers all the areas that The Writer's Guide to Creating a Science Fiction Universe so it is still well worth it.I have also read the Science Fiction Writing Series (edited by Ben Bova) "World Building" and "Space Travel" and I preferred The Writer's Guide to Creating a Science Fiction Universe.
